Picking up a 7-8" silver arowana this upcoming sunday. Going into the 125gal... has a Royal CK and a Sailfin Pleco. The CK has been with quarter sized angelfish so I am really not worried at all about aggression.

Planning to drip acclimate him and I am hoping he will easily accept krill and silversides

Also getting four 1" EB Jack Demps that I plan to grow out in a 55gal.

I'll be sure to post pics!

Just remembered I got some canopy patching to do!

Anyone got any suggestions on "clean and professional" looking canopy patching? Just need to cover up a few gaps I've cut out on the back strip. The 55gal needs a whole lot of patching, don't want my EBJD's jumping out either.

I was thinking about taking a stroll through Home Depot and looking for some thin plastic that I could bend/cut into shape to perfectly patch the gaps. I am thinking I could get away with just cutting the plastic to fit nice and snug but does anyone know of any fish safe glue that would adhere to the existing plastic?

125 has glass hoods with plastic back strips and the 55gal has all plastic hoods with those pre-cut sections missing.

Here's the aro after an hour of acclimation and the baby EBJDs.

Sorry for blurry pics, my cell takes excellent stills but when it comes to swimming fish, BLAH.

Here's the RCK to satisfy this forums' photo crave. Hes a bit smaller here.

Nice fish, though $60 is a bit high for a 7-8" silver
Depends on where you are. Here in KY, a silver that size would be worth $100+. I got mine at 5-6" for $40 and that was a pretty good deal.
