New Silver Datnoid (Polota)

Hi guys just wanted to share my new datnoid pick up. Its about 4.5in and shares his tank with an ID. He taught the indo to eat market shrimp the first day I got him so I was stoked about that. Although many may consider Polota as the "least" of all Dats, I like how unique they are. Their silver color really shimmers, and their body/head shape is much different, almost perch like. Heres a pic, let me know what you guys think.

Thanks man! My first dat was an indo named nelson, and although it appears he refuses to grow, Maybe an inch in 6 months, he's one of my most favorite fish

Stuff the shrimp with a good pellet and work on getting your dats to eat pellets exclusively and they will put on size at a faster rate.

I use a sharp blade to make a short slit and shove as many pellets that will fit in the shrimp.I like to use Hikari carnisticks due to their shape.I don't think there is enough nutrition in market shrimp and nothing beats a good quality pellet .
