Yeah, it's not new to me either, but it's never in stores around here. I can order it at the place I work, though. I really don't need it though as all of my fish that eat cichlid gold (bichirs, SDs, and sev) will feed at the surface
Bought the 2.2lb from someone on here can't remember who. Seen the 8.8 oz bag at the local petsmarts, bring in the online price for them and have the store price match it and you can get it a little cheaper.
I use it for my catfish, the Africans,South Americans all love it and my cichlids will go down and steal it if the cats dont come out soon enough. The stores that I frequent all have it but I buy all my dry goods and supplies from Fosters and Smith catalogs.
Floating foods are pretty dumb I think, especially since my tank has lots of current disturbing the surface. Sinking pellets are a lot easier to feed. Right now I use omega one shrimp pellets, which sink, and omega one cichlid pellets, which float.
And don't forget there is "sinking Mini"pellets too...for the little guys such as synodontis and clown loaches, and plecos and bichirs and all the rest of the bottom youngsters... Mine love it!!
