thanks for all the replies. I recently got 5! channa gachua's and they're all in the same tank. They were fighting at first but then i completely rearranged the tank and they're fine now. Eating already... Its a bit croweded in there tho. Might have to sell some fish..
 
Sqratch i have the same type of plants in my snakehead tank...don't you hate how every morning you find those things floating and have to re plant them...I gets alittle annoying. Nice fish though..

Jelly show us a pic of your himalaya those things are very rare over here...how big do they get?
 
are you talking abt the ones that are floating in my tank? At first i had them all planted. Then one by one they started getting uprooted. so i leave some planted and some floating..
 
I think you might have "sp. assam" as well sqratch. Loads of places are selling them as bleheri in the uk at the moment. Are there any clear orange spots on the tails and anal fins of your fish? If yes they are bleheri, if no they are sp "assam". Oh, and hi Mel :lol2:
