I know, when I started I also commented on the 5 post limit to view pictures. It was a bit frustrating, but look at me now. I am getting close to 900 posts! Unbelievable ain't it? This is a great place to share experiences, and joke, and sometimes, some nasties. But hey, that happens anywhere ane everywhere. Once you get more than 5 posts, you can log out and log back in, and you should be able to view pictures.

I've had the saqme sort of problem ! i have just bought a speices of Snakehead i belive it to be the Channa Marulioides.

I think what it is with the Uk and Snakeheads is that most LFS's they don't look into what they have they sell on hear say ! But there is that many different species of Snakehead it's quite difficult to keep up with them ...lol

find out where it got imported from
marulioides are from indonesia and marulia from india
easiest way to check

I don't think you're a bird And I also don't think you don't know anything I do read a lot of your posts, and they make more sense than some posts I've read, and wrote

i had a sh like the first pix-i have always called it an african snakehead- it never did get too huge maybe 14 inches at best
it can be all dark brown
or can mimic a branch in water by turning its underbelly dark while top stays lite-looks like a stick w/ a shadow on the bottom of it!
