New Snakeheads... Need help with ID..

It can call "same species, different variety" or not?
Like human, all of us are Homo sapient but dif in size and color of skin, eye, hair..

And the base DNA can show that variety?, the think that u do.

it is very easy!

I gave up my sleeping room............and built about 40 Aquariums in there!!

Also I have 3 Aquariums in my living room and 1 aquarium in the bathroom!

And 3 On the balkony and 4 in the basement!

Here is a picture with the view you have when you enter my fishroom!

wow pascal you realy are a channa nut,,i see you have run out of tanks so you have started useing jam jars,lol

Ahh........good view!

Yes....this little pot,buckets.jarc,etc.pp......are for separating fish for a short period of time!

When you have juveniles that grow faster than the others,you can easily seperate them .........until the other have the same size and then you can put them back!

Also I have some smaller tanks (10 Liters,20 liters ,40 liters) for Quarantine new fish or fish with a disease or injuries!

I keep all of my snakeheads as a couple or as a group until a couple has found themselves!

You also can see some of my dead fish........lying in alcohol!
They are samples for sientists and Museums.......

Yes...I have breed some of them!

Here is a list:
-Channa melasoma
-Channa bankanensis
-Channa punctata
-Channa asiatica
-Channa orientalis
-Channa stewartii cf barca
-Channa stewartii spec Himalaya
-Channa bleheri (only once)
-Channa spec Kerala (5 banded snakehead)
-Channa harcourtbutleri
-Channa gachua (about 8 or more Varities-from different countries)
-Parachanna obscura

And the rest.............still trying!

In Germany nearly everybody who is keeping snakeheads is trying to breed them!
