New special convicts, help sexing and species?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Really great looking fish man. The black/white ones definitely look like HRP's to me. The orange in the fins and blue sheen gives it away. The big white guy, looks like either a white morph of regular convict, (I have seen these before, pink cons bred for pale color), or maybe an HRP/pink con cross.
hrp of mine for comparison.

Cheers people I'm happy to have em, they are from the same spawn so if the regulars are hrp so is the white.

Beautifull fish you got. The "Pink" one is a mini monster for sure.

Here are a pair of HRP I got about 3 weeks ago now. They are in a 20 gal the ex gave me, with some fish she had.

I typically feed them to my Jack Dempseys but I have pulled out some of the pinks to grow out. I have seen pinks in the store before, and I would say mine are more white than the ones I usually see. I have a few smaller ones I snapped a picture of. The only pink is where you can see there gills now. I have two larger ones in my office tank that are solid white.
