New species of Arowana has been discovered

although its not a new species it is still a very rare one...
theres always one re post on this and every time i drool at
the sight of one day having one of those beasts!
 
Beautiful fish and a good little read, but as Oddball said there is nothing unusual about the aquarium hobby keeping and breeding fish for years before they are formally described, just look at the number of plecs on the market that are simply assigned a genus and an L# and/or collection point.
