Well I had some white stringy poo today, his tank is 350l so I dosed with a wormer and added 350g of natural rock salt.
Hopefully that gets him sorted, got 4 more doses of meds then I may add another 350g of salt mid week what you think?

If he's feeding soke his food in apsom salts a salutation. Magnesium sulfate

Cheers, yeah he is eating like a pig, will natural rock salt be the same as Epsom?
Where can I get magnesium sulfate and what dosage pal?

Right I've found rd's sticky, feed for 5 days. I decided to treat all my tanks as a precaution. Everyone has eaten some Epsom salt now

Well he is still pooping white stringy and now isn't eating. I've ordered waterlifes octozin and I used a pipet to administer the Epsom salt to his gut today. Hopefully he perks up and I don't need the metro.

Well no improvement, he is wasting away, former image of himself.
Dosed with the closest thing we have to metro in the UK, waterlifes octozin, no change, not eaten for a week.
It doesn't look promising, just done a 95% WC now I'm adding Esha 2000.
The lemon fin barbs and pleco in there are un affected it seems, not sure what else to try after if this fails.

Hi sorry to hear this, do you think it’s some sort of internal parasitic infestation? I’ve read that Kusuri Wormer Plus works,it’s meant for discus but might help? The only trouble would be getting it locally I would think, good luck mate
