Had a great pair of stingrays (kids named them awkward and mickey). Were mature and doing the dance but the house flooded and I couldn't care for them and lost the :-( dipping my toe back in. Watched this little guy at the LFS (Adams pet safari in chester). He always ate like a hog but could see hip bones and dent in the head. They treated him there, pellet trained him, and took more care than I could have ever expected. Went in today and watched him eat pellets like a hog. And the spots....dark blue around bright orange around white. The last month I tried to talk myself out of him. Finally today I picked him up (at half the price of a similar ray from other nj places). Not great pics since he's acclimating but already eating pellets. Hopefully soon I'll be looking for his girl. Good score. Is he a motoro?

yes, nice little motoro. wondering if he will be stunted a little since it seemed to take him about 6 months to start putting some meat on him after dealing with the parasites. but he is already pellet trained which is great. he was cruising around the bottom of the tank last night when the lights were off so i threw some pellets in and he went right for them. he has buried himself this morning

he's back out and cruising around. hopefully he'll get acclimated and comfortable to come out during the day please disregard the smudge glass. need to do a nice cleaning on the outside. IMG_20151230_180938_680.jpg IMG_20151230_180930_108.jpg

Nice to have him on pellets. I always try to get my pups on pellets because for some reason they eat more pellet than any other food given.
