New stingray pups, need help identifying them.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah the lfs said they've had them take up to a week to settle down and start eating.
I put in some blood worms today and they ate a few, also tried ghost shrimp and they're not interested.
I'm also leaving the light off to let them rest and get comfortable.

Do not let chloramine get in the tank, it would kill rays and likely kill filter bacteria...then again if you have been keeping fish in same water for 8 years then u should be fine. Keep testing daily for a few weeks and use dechlorinator that is designed for chloramine removal. I would recommend an hma filter with chloramine removal.

The rays look skinny to me but they are young, get them feeding and keep them varied, you need to get off bloodworms and on to bigger foods.

Also, as said earlier in thread, turn off the lights and keep off for a week to allow them to settle.
