Well I added a cuban juvi to my 220 CA/SA community tank. Things were good for a month or so, once the cuban hit 3.5"-4" it turned into a warzone. Well I lost a FM and now I'm getting rid of the cuban. I'm currently moving, the tank is being moved 2morow. After everything is settled, I'm gonna get 2 or 3 new cichlids to replace the FM I lost and the cuban.

Current stocklist is:
1x GT (6.5")
1x green severum (6" and is the chuck norris of severums)
1x convict (4")

4x flagtails (4-6.5")

1x L-001 (13")
1x L-190 (5")
1x (L-152 (4")

Filtration comes from a 55g sump (1200gph) and a magnum 350

I'm leaning towards a carpintis, salvini and a RTM. Any other suggestions? I want something that can hold its own, but not crazy. Also looking for good colors.
Any other ideas?
 
Think about throwing in one large-growing peaceful cichlid like a bocourti. They seem to reduce aggression levels in the tank, especially if they're the biggest fish in there.
 
I'd go Blue Acara or Texas.
 
I've had blue acara before, I have bad luck with them. They never make it past 3.5". And I prefer the carpintis to the true texas.
 
I have an Acara in my 220 with a 10+" vieja sp.? and a 9" red devil
And he does fine
 
Chocolate and Uaru's are nice....maybe a Super Red Severum, they are nice also and i'm working on getting a couple for my 180.
 
Ok the tank is moved and everyone is settling in nicely. The rogue cuban is gone. I dropped him off at the lfs and warned them of his aggression. But they didn't understand the level of crazy I was explaining. They plopped him in with some oscars, before I left he had his own tank and the oscars were pretty beat up. I'm gonna order fish in the next week or two, Any other ideas?
