new substrate HELP

this weekend i was up at my camp and i went along the creek and got little rocks out of it. made sure they werent sandstone or shale. I came back and boiled them n put them in my tank. my tank has been cloudy lately n when i put them in after i changed my water my tank is still cloudy and my jag is acting different then before.. i was wondering if this is becuase of the the rocks i put in n if it isnt good to have them in..

probably take them out to be sure

they could be polluted or have toxic chemicals inside that was in the creek
it's best just to take them out.

the creek is from up in the mountains in pa... so i should take them out?

thanks... just took them out and did a water change... look to be doing better already
