I changed from gravel to sand, and cleaned it as best I could, but its still fairly cloudy. Its only been a few hours but how long should it take to settle?

Also, are goldfish ok for a sand substrate? They always ate off the gravel before and now they are eating sand and spitting it back out xD, they seem to be enjoying themselves though.

They will be fine.

But there were some reports that sand is not good for goldfishes coz they might swallow sand and it can clog into goldfish's stomach...

hmm never heard of it. I can see goldfish possibly eating sand I mean they do eat their own poo don't they :)

Water change, water change, water change, water change, etc...

Yeah I have had mixed results in searching for things about goldfish and sand yet. Also the water is completely clear now :P
