New super red severum!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great looking trio. I have 8 right now in my 125 gal...Truly beautiful to watch and they will make a great addition to your tank..

they are going into my 125 as well:) i should be getting more fish today, possibly more severum and more schooling fish.

Nice, I currently have 20 Severums in there now...Rotkeils, Golds, Greens and the Reds...Looking to thin them out once I get some pairs...Here is a shot of the tank so far...you can also see pics in my photos..My family loves them...all are doing great and growing well...They were all a quarter size except for the Reds of course which always seem to come in at 3-4 inches already..Have fun...

have any of yours paired off yet? I think two of mine might be, but im not sure. They both push the third one away.

There is no defined paired but a lot of lip locking after water changes and shaking back and forth....I will be setting up a 29 gal soon to try and breed one pair over the summer..The Super Reds are hard to determine the sex unless I try to vent them, which I would have to read up more on but the others I can see more of the differences in the worming of the face and longer fins..Continue to watch their behavior, sounds like something could be happening...Good luck.......
