Not a big chance of Hybridization, but your Occies will probably take over the whole bottom of the tank. I would pick 1 type of shellie, and then a small rock dweller, maybe Julie. Transcriptus.
so do you think a ac50 would be to much? are there any specific shells i shouldn't use or anything like that? Also theres no chance of hybridization between the occys and brevis right??
ya and i made sure to get ones that didnt look similar too, i got pearl occys and orange belly brevis
well i forked out some more money to the seller and now im just gonna get it overnight or what not, so i should have them thurs, and the shells for them fri or sat, so i will put up some pics after this weekend
alright so i got my fish today, i ended up getting 8 pearl occys and 5 orange belly brevis, already had a few problems, started with a ac50 on the tank, well that had to go, way to much current, then i tryed a ac30, no go on that also, ended up using a crappy top fin 30 lol only filter i had that didnt spit out to much current, im soo glad i have a surplus otherwise this woulda sucked
anyway i will post up some pics as soon as the shells get here
these ocs gotta be the spunkiest africans i ever had, constantly showing off
Cool!!! You should get another tank for some comps and calvus...I love these fish!!! Maybe for filtration you could get a couple sponge filters. They do a great job and would have really any current per say.
