New Tank and Sump Build

The 10 demasoni fry are in... and they are smaller than expected but they will do, i thought they were a bit cheap for F1s turns out the size is why lol

Labs are no longer shy... nothing is, when its feeding time the fish are at the top before i get the lid up :)
 
Thanks everyone, going good so far, will add the LED posts when i start after exams (2nd June)

Stocking levels will remain the same untill they naturally increase, didnt get a selected spieces tank for no reason :D
 
Have had alot of mixed comments about the snowball pleco. thought id dedicate a post to him

He seems to be doing excelent now, he'l even get to the algea wafers before the fish do

Nice tank I really like the work you have done and I am impressed by pulling that off while living at home, I wouldnt of even tried to convince my parents to let me have a setup like that when I was younger.

Are you worried about the lava rock scraping the fish at all? Also are you mainly using the sump for water colume and relying on the fx5 for filtering?

Once again great setup and very impressive, I can onl imagine what you will be making 5-10 years from now.

Hehe, i didnt tell rents till i had already started... got ALOT done on my first day... to the point of no return so they couldnt say stop lol + all the planning assured them it would be ok (im only 20 not some bum living with my rents btw)

Iv had lava rocks for 5 years now, as long as you pick the right ones (and believe me there are some VERY BAD lava rocks out there) You should be fine

Mine have none of the sharp big bubble thing going on which some do so all is good

I cant wait till i have my own house... its going to be 1 big TANK :nilly:
