If you need a hand let me know, I could come down for day, I think its about 2 hours from Morris.

Thanks for the offer, I definitely wouldn't turn down any help, Ill do my best to keep this updated on my progress, hopefully i will get the construction part done soon so I can actually install the tank soon, I have the majority of the filtration equipment, just need a buy a skimmer still.

No I haven't completely decided yet, probably end up being either the hsa 3000 or the ets 2000. However I am still open for suggestions for other skimmers

Either of those will do a good job

I have finally got started on transforming my garage into a new living/fish room, I boxed in two windows and a door in the garage then resided the outside of the garage. Im waiting to box in the car garage door until i get the tank installed, this way I can use our skid loader to set the tank in. I also busted out the wall and built the header for the opening. Once i got the room gutted I re-insulated the walls and ran new electrical. There is a closet that will sit next to the aquarium which will hold my 300 gallon storage tank for when i do water changes. I will be able to pump mixed water from my basement to this tank, i had to put the tank there because my basement is too small for a large holding tank. There is a 2 ft catwalk that goes around the side and back of the aquarium, I built this so I wouldn't have to use a stepladder to access the aquarium. Its slowly coming along, anyways here are a few pics. Hopefully will be able to set the stand and tank in within the next two weeks. I also had to move my 180 and 90 gallon aquariums, which was no fun, took me 9 hrs to disassemble and move them into the next room and reassemble them.
