New tank arrived

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol it all depends on weather or not i put the grouper in. hopefully i can find a home for the bumble bee grouper so I can have more smaller fish in there. If I put the grouper in its gonna be kinda boring to watch during the day, since i wont be able to have any other community fish really. its ridiculous how aggressive my grouper is, Its hard to even clean the tank without him nipping at me.

how big it the grouper?

he is about 5 to 6 inches now and is growing like crazy, I can tell just by the way he attacks the frozen food that those damsels wouldn't stand a chance lol

1) How many gallons is it?
2) Where'd you get it?
3) And nice tank man i laughed at the forklift thing lol

lol thanks, the display is 1200 gallons and the entire system is roughly 1500 gallons. I got the tank from tenecor out of Arizona.

sorry not much has been going on, I have added allot of cured rock from my other shark tank and also added a couple of my sharks. The current stock list is a coral cat shark (14 inches), brown banded bamboo (20 inches), cali ray (4 inches), long nose butterfly (3 inches), copper banded butterfly (2.5 inches), yellow tang (3 inches), naso tang (5 inches), and some damsels left over from the intial setup. I also added some red lights for night viewing, the red lights in the pics are rope lights i used just for testing, I now have bulbs attached to the ceiling. Everything seems to be running fine still, the only issue i've had recently is that it stormed pretty good here the other day and the power flickered and one of the hammerhead return pumps stuck when the power kicked back on, luckily i caught it quickly before it overheated. Here are a few pics of the tank currently, I will try and get some better pics of the sharks when they come out tonight. The last pic is of my little buddy lol. Also if anyone is interested in a 6 inch bumble bee grouper let me know, im trying to find a new home for him.
