Hey guys,
This is a brand new 187g glass tank that I just had setup and running for almost 2 weeks. I just got home from work a few hours ago to see/hear the bad news. Only my sister and uncle were home at the time when it happened.
They just saw water gushing from underneath my door. When they opened it, water came rushing all over the house (thankfully for tile floor). The leak seemed to be coming from the bottom of the tank. My sister saved my aimara and put him in my 125g!
Could it be because I was using a cynderblock/2x4/plywood stand? I used 5 stacks of cynderblocks, two 2x4's laying on top, and 3/4" plywood laying completely over it. Everything seemed leveled when it was setup.
Well I'm pretty devastated right now. I spent quite a lot of money and did a lot of work to get the tank up and running...not to mention the fish. Not too sure I want to take the risk of getting a glass tank repaired.
Sorry for the long post. Just needed to vent a bit and get you guys' input on this.
