NEW TANK, CYCLED FILTERS?

if you are keeping the same bioload (for now anyway) and only increasing the water you should not have any issues..

the BB live ON surfaces of things.. they are not free floating in the water (well.. there are BB in the water.. but just because you drive down the highway does not mean you live in your car on the highway)...

if you put your filters on the new tank and then stop the bioload (by not adding fish) you are going to starve the BB living in the filters..
the bioload from "10 small feeders" is nowhere near enough to keep the BB alive.. they handle bioload of your pbass and your aro..

if you are transfering everything from one tank to the other in the long run just do it outright. the bioload is the same no matter what tank its in. or are you planning to keep some of the fish in the first tank? what is your current stock list in what tank size? what is the new tank size and what are you planning to keep in each tank? you need to provide more information for the correct informative response you are looking for.

i see what ur saying.. i just dont want to hurt the fish in anyway from a mini cycle or spike oof any kind!

the new tank is going to be the same exact dimensions just NEW.. my current tank is going to be taken down and sold!

I would move half the water to the new tank. Them move the fish. Then fill the rest of the new tank with new water(Just like a 50% waterchange). Now move your filters and you good to go. It's always a good Idea to test daily, but I would doubt that you will see any type mini cycle at all.

transfer all filters all fish and 50% water, fill as with a WC, and treat with stress coat (helpful in rebuilding slime coat any time you have to handle your fish)

u should test the water before u put ur p bass in. don't assume its cycled cuz someone told u it was.

Exactly. I learned this the hard way moving from my Africans from a 55 to a 90 I moved all their filters but I hit a spike a week later that sucked thank god for prime.
