new tank dilemma.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Small schooling tetras I like. Don't know how well one of the larger nice plecos would workout but that was another I was thinking about. Yup finding the right piece of wood is going to be a challenge but a nice piece would make your tank that much nicer.

i hear ya there. i mean in my mind im think a nice large piece fingering up towards the surface. but finding one 30" tall and less then 18" wide is going to be a challenge. im thinking moss, with some fingering plants that grow tall. black sand substrate. attempt to shoal a small dither fish, anything else ya'll would think would look nice?

that tank looks very nice! i like the format he has in there, kinda what i was thinking about doing. but leaving the middle portion open with the sides and back of the tank planted, with drift wood and rocks and what not, kinda trying to get as close to a natural setting as i can with very little imagination LOL.

By all means my friend, browse through the forum, old stuff and new alike. But before you post in any thread you're looking at just check the date on it. You've resurrected an 8 year old thread here! Many of the participants in this original thread haven't been active for a while.

Easy mistake to make, you're new round here. Just some friendly advice:thumbsup:

I'm sorry I didn't know that was a faux pas, I am new and needed to reach a quota of comments before I could post a thread so I was posting as much as possible but I can post now and will only reply to recent threads. I am sorry for any inconvenience.
