Impressive!

Would you care to elaborate some on your "pressure chambers"?
Where are they in your pictures (if visible)? What are their main purpouse and how did you construct your airlifts?

Is that a drip system as well? If so, how do you handle your overflow?

pressure chamber on my 4" airlifts is just a 2" band of hundreds of 1/32 holes drilled in bottom of pipe then covered with 3" piece of 6" pipe with washers as a seal creating a chamber .4" airlift3.5feet long with 50 liters per min will pump 5-6000 gals per hour.see more info on www.freshwaterstingray.com.

drip system tap water through charchole bout 400 gal per week with an overflow to waste,

Sweet!
I remember his setup. Just wasn't sure of the nomenclature...
I like the simplicity of it all.
What kind of power consumption do you see compared to regular water moving pumps? Do you know? And how long do you expect those air pumps to last?
Man, I know I'm a million questions here but...
It may not be any concern, since you keep a separate building but what is the noise level with those airlift systems?

the koi keepers seem to be getting several years out of the airtech pumps, pumps i am using are70lpm or 50 lpm at 1m depth, this consumes 36 watts and will pump approx 5-6000 gph.i have 3 lifts on the tank.the pumps are quite quiet but there is some noise from the flow.the stingray fella in holland using 6" lifts are pumping 13500gph

How where you able to build the upper frame in the clear viewing window I wounder how the upper frame and the viewing plannel are added to these cement tanks in that I would like to look into building one of them in the near future.

pillars, lintels and a 9"x6" collar around the top of the tank were cast in reinforced concrete, after being boxed in with timber formers, all fairly simple.

Yes, this is a very impressive set up. Can you fill us in on the build process? I need to read up on this air lift filter too, very interesting. I hear they work better with very deep tanks 4' +

If you started over, would you do anything different?
