new tank : fish dying

hi, my boss recently bought a new 160ltr tank on a stand! he washed all the filter and the tank out and put his fish in it but overnight they died! i had a look myself and all the temp the ph and evrything was fine and he also took it down for a multi chemical test at our local fish shop which all came back good! hes tried new fish several times and same thing keeps happening! its got me stumped!! anyone got any ideas as what could be goin on!???

The tank was not cycled..hence the fish dying...

yes tank was cycled! left heater, water, and filter on for 3 days before hand, checked ph and then put fish in!!! i jus dont get it

So it has nothing to do with the water..since it was tested.. What fish were in the tank..?

3 days to cycle water? and what kind of fishes were they

the pH has nothing to do with the ammonia thats killing the fish Are you even adding water conditioner?

amonia was tested! they were mainly tropical fish such as guaramis BUT... also 1 peacock and a pleco
