well it certainly wasnt easy moving everyone out, they got a little beat up, but nothing serious from what i can tell.... its incredible how big the fish actually are when out of the water, i couldnt believe it.... anyway they've been in for about an hour so far and looking comfortable which is a good sign

Awesome!

I love that big ole tarpon. He's beastly! Is it an Indopac or an Atlantic?

The colors on the Dorado look good too!

Do you have a ton of current in this tank, too? If so, what do you have producing the current, and how much current?

its an Atlantic Tarpon, was told he was collected from the Congo River, and he is huge!!! like 14-16 inches huge! i couldnt believe how big he was until i had him in the net and he soaked my entire living room!

I've got a return line thats probably doing somewhere in the 3000-3600 gph range, and 4 koralia magnum 8 water circulators rated at 3650 gph each, and i may add a 5th from the 220 i'm shutting down... the tank is so long it needs a lot of current

Gonna really push for the next couple weeks to get the Goliaths eating pellets, they are the only fish that still refuse them. I figure the tank change may have been the push they needed to begin eating pellets, i need it to become every ones staple diet. Most of the datnoids choose not to eat the pellets, they would rather shrimp, but they will eat them, the Goliaths have never eaten any. Hopefully they'll break quickly and hit a growth spurt

i lied, the Koralia pumps are rated at 3200, not 3650, and i just added a 5th pump totalling approx 19,000-19,500 gph flow in the entire tank

I'm really glad you mentioned those pumps. I thought my Koralia Evo 1400's were the biggest, I'm really happy to see there's something bigger! I'm going to start building a big tank probably next payday and this is very good to know, thanks.

How large are those magnum 8's physically? They look like about the size of a softball, is that far off?
