new tank for the gf

well im trying to get the gf into the hobby im starting her off with a small tank 14x8x8 she wants pretty fish so any suggestions

Goldfish? Not for such a small tank. Get a male betta. And some cory catfish for the bottom.

yeah this is a very small tank 4 now so small colorful cute looking fish

Maybe a school of cardinal tetras.

Bettas are the way to go for the GF. Very hardy fish ! looks pretty too
