So I recently redid my aquascaping and put in a bunch of sand. I also got another lighting fixture so I now have double the light I had in there before. so very bright and lots of colour. Also added a nice background to the tank. I just finished taking some more pics of my stock so thought I would also show them here, Hope you like.

Good looking setup Strato. How many gallons is it and what are the dimensions? I really like how wide it is...

Did you resealable that tank? Any looks like alot of excess silicone on it

Sent from my VTAB1008 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

CJ, The tank is 225 gallons 5´long, 3´wide and 2´ high.

Aquamonster it was missing a side piece when I got it so I had to buy a new one and reattach it. I resealed the whole tank and I felt that more silicone was better because I wanted it to be very strong. Originally I intended to cut off the excess silicone but I decided I would rather it was safe than look perfect because it doesnt bother me.
also the person that had the tank before me tried to take it apart, so I had to painstakingly remove all the silicone on every side and reseal.

Fishman, The vieja is very confusing looking I suppose until it gets full adult colouration I won´t know what it is.

Thanks for the kind words everyone its my first Monster tank.
and that I´ve just moved to a new continent so I wanted a project to keep me busy while my passport is being processed for immigration. so this tank had a lot of effort put into it, so means a lot that people like it.

Thanks Cichlidfish! her tube has dropped today and shes protecting a new area. she obviously wants to breed but I have no clue what with. my Vieja is the only other fish thats been hanging around her, so that would be a weird mix.
the tank was also my first time resealing so not only was I a bit messy, but with 225 gallons of water in there I would rather have more silicone then less.

awesome pics strat!

It seems like female CA cichlids lay eggs once they have come into sexual maturity. They will defend them as they were fertilized.
I was thinking about you mistery "geo", so I went though some my books and magazines. The fish may not be a geo, but a gymogeophagus sp.
