New tank. Need help/recommendations

I have had a 80 gallon tank for the longest time and have kept 2 Oscars, 2 Convicts, two Plecos, and 3 African Cichlids in them.

My friend now has that tank, and the fish, because me and my wife are about to buy a new tank.

I am looking to buy a 300 gallon tank and I need help deciding what fish to put in it and how to decorate the tank.

I for some reason like aggressive fish much more and am looking possibly at a GATF...but can you have tank mates with that? I mostly want aggressive fish that will look good in my tank I am also thinking along the lines of Arowanas, Pirahnas, or anything similar. But don't be afraid to suggest something complete different. I would prefer a list of exactly what you would put in it.

Also...how do I go about decorating such a larg tank? :/

AND: If you are wondering why I want aggressive fish, it is just a preference. I am not getting them to feed other fight to them (aside from feeders.)

I have got a 700 litre tank and I have put 40kilo's of sand in. It's a nice affect and aleast it doesn't get discoloured like stones. Slate is another good idea.

Thank you for the recommendation. Do you have any plants, rocks, wood, etc?

And what type of fish do you have, or what type do you think would be good for me?

I think a Jardini would look great in that new 300g!

As to aquascaping....it's really such a personal preference so just put in what you like.

I wouldn't do an ATF in a 300g, go for maybe south American cichlids. You could always go for a couple small rays and an aro and p.bass would be nice. I'd also go with sand and maybe some big manzanita

Why not put an African Tiger in the 300? Just curious. And what tank mates would be good with the African Pike. I liek that fish a lot, but i'd like multiple fish in my tank.

I would stock it like this x1 pbass x1 arrowana x1 tiger datnoid x1 pleco or option two x3 red tail barracudas x3 yellow tail barracudas x2 red tail payara x1 African pike x1 fancy pleco. I myself would definitely go with option #2 with a beautiful sand layout with some driftwood also live plants and a kick *** filtration setup.

Gatf get way to big for a 300 you'd need a tank sized 3x that size to house them. And besides finding a suitable tankmate that won't get destroyed would be hard.
