New tank, new cichlids

I know, how could I not have had an Oscar? Well at one point I had 20 tanks running but I still didn't have enough room for what I wanted. I kept Umbees, Dovii, Frontosa, Giant Gouramis, Motaguense, Nics, Lots of Geophagus, Giraffe Catfish, Synspilum, Loiselli, Synadontas, Green Terrors, Tropheus, all the Lake Victorians I could find, Discus, Blockheads, all different types of Africans,and now Koi and Comets haha. Now I have to be more selective as my wife is not going to let me get back to that level of insanity. That said, I plan on building a wood monster tank in the spring. Too cold outside now, -19c today.

The EBJD looks awesome, as do all the fish. Did you acquire them all from the same store/vendor?

Thanks again. No, they came from 4 different stores. Calgary is lucky as it has wonderful fish stores. Still, they don't stock the CA/SA cichlids like you guys seem to get in the States, but once in a while you come across a gem.

Your Argentae looks like it has great genetics! Your festae is almost certainly a male.. Be careful with the EBJD, they arent as hardy as normal dempsys. Update with pics when you can, you got my attention.

You may have aggression issues with the Cuban once he or she passes the 6 inch mark . Most likely will kill the ebjd .
