A week or two will make your bio wheel grow good bacteria from your 30g tank. You may use your old filter in your 30g tank. You may also transfer all the water from your old tank to your 75g tank.

It wont hurt to add some bottled bacteria, a little bottle is pretty cheap, so better safe than sorry. You should be fine though. Good luck and post up some pics!

im raising a clown knife in it and have an angel and bala. so this tank acualy is the stepping stone to a larger tank once the clown knife grows a bit.
