I got the feeders 2 weeks ago, used them to cycle the tank, plus the filter was used so it already had beneficial bacteria in it, it cycled for 2 weeks and i just got the fish yesterday.

In that case it does sound like you have a good handle on cycling and beneficial bacteria.

the issue now is the fact you have fish that will not get along in a very short amount of time. They will outgrow the tank in a matter of a couple months.

What size are the Oscar, RD and Convicts currently?

Im just keeping them right now for fun, once they get bigger ill bring them back to jersey and throw the oscar in my dads tank and the devil in my old tank, put the convicts in the 55 with the other small cichlids, then im gonna get something new fro this tank

Whats size are your tank at home? What size is your dad's? What are they currently stocked with?

I would still just keep the cons, even then a 20 could be cramped once they get 3-4"

Your call though, if you do frequent small water changes, make sure the nitrates are below 20 ppm, and there are no agression problems in the short term you may make it a few months before that RD flips the aggro switch and kills the O and Cons
