see, now you're giving me ideas ;)

Glad to help. I have been thinking of this myself, when I put my 110g back together after the kitchen is remodeled after that mold problem (still a hole in the wall).

It's actually quite easy, you just get eggcrate from Home depot and connect to the wall of the tank while it's lying down, then silicone the pieces of slate to the eggcrate. That should work really well. You can even do compartments for your filter intaks and outtakes by building eggcrate boxes, and then cover them up with slate. It's going to be a project I think when I am ready.

Dicrossus maculatus!!! That's definitely a very nice looking fish. I've only seen pictures of this fish and if you're able to locate them, that would be awesome.

Lucked out on finding someone with altums around this area and have been picking them up as he lets them go =). So far, there are six of them in the tank, but he's letting go of 2-4 more, so I'm thinking about picking those up as well...

yeah, i've got a friend that imports fish : http://www.frybabies.com is her site...

originally i thought of some apisto. cacatuoides triple reds, but she suggested some other little known fish :)

i'll also be getting some queen arabesque plecos also

Awesome. Both of them are great choices. Dicrossus filamentosa is more common, but another beautiful fish from the genus.

BTW, post some pictures of the Queen Arabesque when you get them. Haven't seen one for over two years now. They're a beautiful species.
