well the reason they are keeping the filters is because they are moving to kansas and a tank that big is hard to move that far, but i know what you mean but im still concerned on how to reseal it if it does leak. i have never reasealed b4 and with a tank that size i dont want to screw it up and have it leak down the road.

See if they'll fill it up with a hose outside. I'd buy and reseal if it leaks.. although I'd work them down to $100 tops. The pretending to walk away bit usually helps your bargain. Or you can put on a thoughtful look and tell them to let you think about it for a day or two. If they really need to get rid of it, they'll give you your price.

ok well i looked at it yesterday and she called me lastnight and said someone else was going to look at it but she didnt call me back with a yes or a no.

what are the pos that if it leaks and i can fix it right? what type of silicone is fish safe that they sell in tubes that i can use a caulking gun with rather than little tubes?
