New Tank Set-up...Cichla Grow out Project

Manzanita Driftwood is still missing from the Aquascape...arrives hopefully next week. I know Cichla and Plants dont mix, but all the ones going in are small and by the time they can mess with the plants will be moving on to bigger and better. Hopefully, plants stick and I can then use this as a Discus/Altum tank. Also, setback on the pump but got a new source and a better deal, so I rigged the filtration for the time being so atleast the Bacteria starts building up. Some fish go in tomorrow. :nilly:
 
That was quick. Can't wait to see the xingus in there. Looks awesome.
 
Id been stocking up on everything I need...Not a patient person, so I knew when I got started Id want everything ready. The only real drawback has been the Reeflo pump fiasco, but I got a new source today and a lot better deal.l.so good thing in the end. The manz will complete the look Im going for along some other wood, and Java ferns and moss. Lastly, will finish dressing the front of the stand once the pump is in. Its more maneuverable for the time being.
 
Reeflo:lipsseale I can talk your ears off when it comes to pumps. I'm glad it worked out.
 
I like the Wlims, but too much flow for this setup. The next 400g + however....We'll be in touch ;)

Oh my Gosh LAZ looks like i need to get my tail in Gear man and get the manz to ya !!!!!!!!!!! looks absolutly great !!!!!!!!!See if i can get it sent off today....

I am going to "borrow" your sump idea, I have been trying to find what kind of sump to run on my 400 gallon but wasn't sure what kind to run Until now :-) ,
This is going to sound stupid but where would be a good place to find a plastic "bin" like your using , and was wondering how big of a sump would I need with running 2 fx5's on it also ( was thinking 100 - 150 ? )
