  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well mines a naked tank...just gravel...but im doing this so he can have more room for a little while...and he was unrooting everything...was annoying...but hes very happy quite aggresive..specially to anything in the tank...including his ex tank mate 2 inch smaller snakhead that he killled...
maybe just try it empty for a few weeks...put in live fish..and watch him go...

What type of snakehead do you have?

I've taken a lot of the stuff out but i'm super busy at the mo. moving house. He's already at the new house. I've taken most the thicker plants out and he's come out more. Still scared whenever i open the top of the fish tank tho. But at least he swims around sometimes now. He never did before unless it as dark and no one as in the room.

i have chana micros..well now micro...wut i can suggest is keep the water parameters in chek...they can tolerate crap but do much better in good clean water...dont do too many big water changes...id suggest one 30% a week...or even better..(but most plp dont have the time...) 3 10% changes...the heavy mettles and chlorine in tap water is very harmfull for them...will change their attitude too...and put him in a room with lost of plp circulation..so that he gets used to plp alot...mines next to two computers and my bro sits there like 14 hours a day...so he used to us by now...and gewt him live feeders will bring out the beast a little in him

Have you tried adding some sm. size schooling fish to the tank??... (danios? neon tetras? of like?)... 'target fish'... perhaps that might bring out your SH a little bit more??

I have done that very thing, I bought some Barilius dogarsinghi, They resemble very small trout, I have heard Barilius can be monsters themselves. They are from the same areas as the SH's aswell. They act as dithers and give the impression that all is well out in the open water. Worth a go! :)

He is doing SO much better now. I took out most of the stuff in the tank and he's acting like all the other SH's i've ever owned. He swims around. Comes to look at me sometimes. Comes close to the glass sometimes when i put my finger on the glass. I'll have pics soon
