Thats what I was condering...By the way. Exoticfishshop have some large datnoids for sale. Might be a good option.
I could but the divorce would cost even more.

Trust me bro the pearsei wont bother the dats, dats will fight back no matter how small it is, it will stand up against bigger fish.
My IT is only 1” and i have a 4” jardini with it and the jar trys to bully it but end up the jar got bullied.
That im not sure, but i just noticed that dats only become aggressive when defending themselves.Ive never owned a dat and dmd's female is more laid back than my male. (Just thinking outloud) what if she were to not back down or continue messing with the dat ? Are dats the type of fish than can accept a sub dominant role ?
So exotic only really has two dats I would consider and they are the IT at $279 for a 6.5" dat or the NGT at $159 (sale) for 6" dat. These would likely be a size that the polys would leave alone. Im basing this off when I had added the baby oscar and it was right up in their faces and no one ate him. lol
Polyaddict86 , when you say 'aggressive to other', are you meaning other fish like cichlids? This would defeat getting the fish if it would have an issue with the pearsei.

Get a New Guinea Tiger (NGT). Here’s mine. It’ll match your Pearsei’s colors. ;-)
Polyaddict86 - U need to get one too
lol

These kind of dats are fine with cichlids. Most are seen with pbass but larger and friendly cichlids should be fine. Seen with mixed fish including cichlids. So exotic only really has two dats I would consider and they are the IT at $279 for a 6.5" dat or the NGT at $159 (sale) for 6" dat. . FYI- Singular indos usually do best visually.
