Sounds like a pretty decent LFS owner. I once had one owner try selling me a Eheim Pro III for a 20g tank! I just looked him in the eye and asked why not just add an FX5 for backup?!

might have to rethink my XP3 undergravel jet though another person at the store said that i would have problems with restricted flow 
well the new tank came early so its now sitting on my dining room floor i will build the stand for it on monday
im so stoked about setting this up and getting it running

i think you should stick with the pair of xp3's.
rena has pulled through for me, no disrespect to eheim but yeah.
plus, filstar's are pretty unique, their the only canister filter
i've ever seen that releases trapped air.

im confident on the filtration abilities of the xp3
but my original plan was to run undergravel jets with the filters but some one at the fish store told me i could run into problems with restricted flow

well today im about to go and pick up a presurized CO2 system and some substrate from him
and its only going to be 350 and the CO2 set up has a tank with it
