Well, a couple people told me they wanted to see my setup because I'm new to arowanas, so hereya go! Sorry for the bad quality, I still don't have a new camera, so this is coming from my ghetto dinosaur phone... haha. There are 3 of them, one of them has a little clip on its fins (was there when I bought it, it will heal right?)

Real nice man, That nip should heal up, may wanna use some aloha vera for fish..Ive had Aros for a long time now, mine had a problem with a pacu, and healed it right up. Personally I'd plant it, but I like it. May even wanna put a catfish or something in there with them. How big are they?

They are about 10-11 inches at the moment. I wanted a tigrinus, but Idk if they will get along? Theres also a pleco(8in) in there.

Id say your good with what you've got..Ive got a Shovel Nose Hybrid in mine..quit smaller than the others, but they get along great. I dont have any plecos though...Ive had the worst luck with my aros killing them off, even XL ones, so quit putting them in there. I'll see if I cant get some pics for yah. Id have drift wood and plants, helps water quality and gives it a more natural look. I dont have plants but its cause I have an Oscar with mine

Varied diet, is key.
30 pieces for 3 of then, sounds right and enough.
Throw in some mealworms, I'm sure they will love you more for that.

My aro is pushing 22" now. I feed her tilapia fillets, injected with Garlic Guard, pieces of spirulina flakes withn the fillets and pieces of boiled chicken heart.
I used to feed it hikari sticks, but she will go thru a pack very quick.

nice setup you got there - i agree with some plants in there. any aggression at all? keep the updates coming!

nice setup i have my aro in with a clown that has about an inch and a half on but the ck is now know as scar face. i guess there was a squabble for space one night between the and the next morning i noticed the ck was pretty nicked up on the right side of his face. all healed up well but left some nice scarring hence the name scar face....
