New Tank!

i've got the two canisters on the 40 picking up some bb before i get them onto the 150. tomorrow i will be cleaning the tank a little more and laying a bead of silicone in the corners and hopefully getting some sand. we'll see what kind of progress i can muster up in a few days.

Where did you find the scrubbies? Now I know why everytime I go to the dollar store there sold out......:ROFL:
 
family dollar in the cleaning section. 6 for a dollar. three packs filled two trays on the xp3.
 
.....and just for "stuffs" and giggles, i woke up to one of the xp3's not pumping but i had to go to work. (this is at 3:15 this morning) so i unplugged it until i got off work....i get home and i popped the top on the canister and there lies the head of a goldfish! i mistakingly forgot to put the debris filter on the end of the intake tube.

it's working fine now.
 
hold on, i'm rinsing the sand and the tub just clogged :irked:

i'll be back after i find some liquid plumber.
