  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Please dont add the Electric Blue jack Dempseys.....they are mild , they grow slowly and will not be able to handle the aggression of the JD and the Nicarguans.

hey guys, so I got the new tank clean, and the back painted, also got the filter all setup and just starting to fill the tank with water!! so exciting!! :D Im wondering if I can just add cold water and let it sit for a couple days to regulate the temperature instead of adding hot water, just want to make sure that all the cold water wont do anything funky with the silicone.

Take the media from the tank you currently have them in

ok, today's update, i put about 25 lb of sand from my existing tank into the new one, put about 5 lb of rock (which I will be removing after cycle is done) from the other tank into the new tank, and one 8" fake silk plant from the other tank, which i will also be removing. also, i've set up the new filter and have it running with all new filter media in addition to all my filter media from my other tank (running 2 filters on that tank. so one is now shut down) hope this is all right. havnt cycled a tank in 4 years so its like doing it all for the first time.

hey guys, what do you think about plants with my stock? im thinking anubius attached to driftwood, if i can do these plants with my stock, when could i put them in? would i have to wait until my tank has cycled? thanks
