I just set up my first African cichlids tank, I was wondering if anyone could id these fish for my? I was told they where 2 female and 1 male zebra. I will include full tank shots if anyone wants to give their 2 cents.

Sorry only have pic of 2 fish, 2 of the fish are the purple/blue fish i was told they where female and the yellow one i was told it was male.
The yellow fish looks to be a male Saulosi yet to go through his color change. As for the blue one, Im not sure. most likely a hybrid.
I added the fish to this tank the day before I made the post so it was 9/27 since then 1 of the fish died and I added 2 more because I think it was aggression that killed the first one. I am now having troubles keeping the ammonia levels down I do a water change of about 1/3 to ½ once a week. There is also white specks growing on the tank when I scrap it from the front glass it looks like an off-white slim should I be concerned about this? And is there any way to keep my ammonia levels down should I do more water changes add chemicals ect? Thanks for any help you can give me.
Agree. Overfeeding is the biggest mistake people make with a brand new aquarium. I'd bet that's what the white specks are from too, as they are actually worm-like creatures that appear when overfeeding is an issue. They are harmless though. I doubt aggression was a problem as there are plenty of hiding places from the picture I see. Ammonia probably killed the fish. Change 20% of the water every day for the next month, then scale it back to 20% every 4-5 days, assuming your ammonia levels are zero. Africans do not like big water changes at one time. I'd check with your LFS and see if they have live bacteria cultures available, this will help get your tank cycled and get that ammonia down.
