Ya i'd say they hunt by sight. But mine seem to know the moment the food hit's the water. I don't know maybe they can smell the Hikari Stix also?


What was the other guy feeding? I'd assume he'd take live? Maybe not...?

My old Goliath was a Log… Lol
He would only eat when the house was dark. Not surprised he don't go to town right away. I think BigJ is the only one I know of that had a Bold Goliath.

i know what you mean, goliaths aren't usually aggro unless the tank is tailored to them. this piece used to go right to town, but it wa never the same after the blind eye..

haha thanks i'd much rather see a cuban-tropical-alligator gar combo, but that'll have to wait...
