new tankmate

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the fish she posted i belive is either a carpenter's wrasse or a McCosker's wrasse. i would have suggested either of them, solar wrasses are usually very availibe and sometime the exquisite and mystery

filimentosum is another good one...

but i guess it would mostly depend on availibility by you, sorry about knocking your choices like that

hey no prob biggourami. I really only picked them because they were still slightly common. I could always order off line but finding a place that carries them and is a good dealer is tricky lol. How far away is roalling meadows from madison wisconsin do you know. I have gone to chicage a few times but not much??

Princess, my tank is 65 gallons. Everything will soon be moved into a 125-180 gallon, which may be taking place in june as well as filter and light upgrade. The first wrasse you posted looks like a "christmas wrasse" which is impossible to get in wisconsin it seems lol.

madison i think is like a 4-5 hour drive (doing the speed limit :D)
i took a trip to appleton and i think that's near madison, that was like 4.5 in a bus.

I like the stores in Chicago i could find pretty much anything i wanted. Here in La Crosse theres just not much for pure saltwater stores.

I think Flasher Wrasse are amazing! Sure they might not be as "flashy" (no pun intended :D) but their still beutiful. THey have that purple on yellow contrast. Not only that but they have that elongate, almost eel-like body. You should definately get a radiant wrasse.

that's a coris wrasse not a flasher, flashers are like the mccosteri or carpenters.

dont get me wrong, corises are fine and dandy just a different kind.
haliocheres instead of parachelius i believe
