nice man, real nice. I wish i could commit to an ATF of some description but they are jsut too big. And aren't from SA but i think i can make an exception for such a nice fish.

Kudos!

thanks man!
i wanted to do an all SA tank...but...:naughty::naughty::naughty::ROFL:
dont worry,we will all own what we want at some point of our lives.

Nice combo, any concerns with pbass dining on the ATF?

this ones bigger than the pbass.
the last one was growing very fast for a VATF,2 inches in 2.5 months.
but he still couldnt keep up with the bass.
so i decided to trade him.

Hey I'm pretty new to all this and was wondering what a TAT and a VATF is and which is which in your pictures lol?

the TAT is a hydrolycus tatauaia.
the one that seems to swim in an angle with the red tail, hence the name redtail payara.
the VATF if the skinny one with the yellowish tail.

Hey just another question, what is the actual name of the VATF? Also how big does it get? It looks like a sweet fish. LOL im really new to all this.

^^Vittatus African Tiger Fish. I am pretty sure Vittatus can get up to 2 1/2-3' in the wild but I could be wrong.
