Having one prob though he so far will only eat hard boiled eggs iv tried cut up fish, strawberries, and crickets and he takes no interest, any suggestions on what to do, or will he be fine on just eggs for awhile?

Do you have contact info with the previous owner so you can see what he was fed? My tegu loves her ground lean turkey with cod liver oil.

Keep trying different foods that he likes. The more variety in his diet the better.

Yea alls he said was scrambled eggs and crickets, but imma try a bunch of other stuff he seemed to be interested in the strawberries but then just backed away from them.



Also I think iv found a nice big home for him for the future its 6Lx5Hx4W if its still available. I want to hopefully go see it this weekend or next week some time if I get it imma cut the height down so I can try and get it into the basement if I end up getting it.

Well still so far he will only eat eggs I got him a pinky today and threw in some crickets put him in the tank for about an hour and everything was still there but as soon as I drop in some eggs he eats, will he be fine with just eggs for awhile until I find something ells he will eat?

i would cut the eggs out and only offer them as a "treat", get him on an insect diet.

despite what people may say, eggs are not THAT great for them. whole prey should make up most of his diet.

so maybe kind of starve him a little tell he gives in on the crickets and the pinky, I hope he starts eating the crickets I have a **** load of them.
