Super nice fish. Have spawned and rised them before. Actually the one I have left was born in my tanks, he is 13 months old and 25 cm already. A monster with really bad attitude but a beuty.
Had a pair until early this year that was rising fry every three to four months. This guy was left behind together with five more siblings and decided to keep them and grow them up. Went out for a short holiday and 10 days later when I came back home they had killed three of them and the tank was a war zone. They were 1 1/2 inches only. So I separated them from each other and this one remaning was hiding in the sump and could not get him when the local zoo glady accepted my cubans. So he stayed home and live happily in the sump since then.
They are mean too.
