New Texas .. spawned in 4 days of pic up..!

Hi, just got a nice looking pair of texas cichlids from my LFS about 4 days back.. It was difficult to sex them at the store but I tried to make a guess. They're both about 4 inches..

After 4 days and a lot of digging . . . . .



I couldn't believe it..

Don't know how to care for the fry...

So help me out... should I separate the parents from the eggs..

Very nice, i have recent;y had my Green Texas pair spawn but i couldn't bring on any young.

also what should i do when the fry comes...should i ket them stay in with the parents or syphon them out????

keep them with the parents until they are big enough to move to a tank of their own, around 1.5 cm is a safe size to move them in my experience. i reckon feeding crushed flake is the best way to go for fry, or even baby brine shrimp. hope this helps, let us know how it goes
