Ok, I have been having issues with the p14.The female is still fine so I installed a divider to keep
Her away to focus on him.
He is not eating at all today. I did a waterchange as today is day 6 of prazi treatment. So i was going to flush the system..Everyones breathing has improved. I was saying yesterday he seems swollen and now today know for sure! He has wrinkles like he is puffy and I have noticed this since I moved him but never mentioned it as I thought it may be normal. His disc edge especially in the front is thick like 1/8"+ where most
Rays are normally paper thin toward the outside diameter.
Instead of a concaved head between eyes it is sticking out. What the heck is going on???
I did notice some if this before the treatment of prazi so can't blame on that.

Like he
Is allergic to something or has internal damage????

Thoughts?

Oh make sure and watch video to the end!

Ive only seen swollen pups never seen a older ray with this

Not sure how many tanks u have but it might be a good idea to move the female since she is doing good.

In all the videos and pics I have seen, never have I seen this condition. I would be afraid to put her with any other rays in case of transfer of
whatever the condition is. So I would only move her to a seperate QT.

WOAH!!!!!!! Just first reaction i would say Bacterial infection!!!!! just the front of the disc seems swollen is it possable he was stung by another ray is there any of the disc black undernieth???

damn does look bad...this is what i personally would do ...i know everyone has there own way ...stop adding prazi and do and nice healthy water change add some prime or make sure the new water is good and let him be no salt or anything i personally like carbon and use it from time to time and try and get the water as good as u can i have never seen this and the pups i still have and sold are all doing fine im not sure whats up ? wish i did im stressin for u bro

Any pic of the underside ?

At this point, I am leaning towards bacterial vs parasite. Can you find any open sore, wound ? signs of fungal ?

I'd definitely move the female out to a separate QT and monitor her as well for now. Let's do this as a precaution

woo never see that before hope he will make it though bud

I'll move the female. I think it would be a smart move.

I don't see any wounds, or anything on him.
When I moved him I noticed a tiny bit of red on his "feet" out toward the tips. I thought it might have rubbed the net or something. Not seeing anything now at all.

Bacterial would be from bad water... Correct?

I think your ray might have an allergic reaction to something, or since its swollen it could have been stung accidently.

A possible way where this could have happened: The ray was swimming fast and stuck its self with the barb of another ray.
