ok, so my tanks is 50 gals +/-
for now i have 5 angels, 5 zebra danios in my tank.. planning to get some bottom dwellers that could clean up after my angels :)
is there a specific kind of cory i should get for my tank? are the albino kinds any good? haha too many white/platinum in my tank.. will try to get better pics of my tank soon :)

Sterbai, panda, peppered or emerald greens are my favorite.

alright! ill try too look for some corys in the weekend.
and can you identify what kind of plants i have? i think i dont have enough lights cos some of them are starting to melt :(

It looks like Swords and Java ferns in the back. In the fron on the far left and far right I don't know what those are. The most common problem you are having is that the swords are transfering from being grown out of the water to beging grown in the water. Plants out of the water grow faster than plants in the water because there is more Co2. Other than that it is probably because you have a lack of nutrients in the substrate.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but was wanting to ask you a question Tropicalfishking. I have a 55 gallon, with playground sand as the base, an Emperor 400 & 280, planning to plant it with 108 watts of 6300k t5 HO. It currently has 6 Albino Aeneus Cories, 1 Female Betta and 6 Kuhli Loaches. I'm also planning to get 1 Leopard Ctenopoma, and possibly some top dwellers. Havent quite decided on top swimmers yet. I'm wondering how many Angels you think would work with this kinda setup? I'm thinking 5, but I wanted to ask your opinion since you were answering "Extrame"'s questions about Angels. The Kuhli Loaches might not be staying.
Thanks for any advice you have. and heres hoping you actually come back and read this, lol.

5 is good, 6 would be the absolute max though. So just stick witht he 5, then when they get older you can choose to keep the best pair, or to keep them all in the same tank. Just keep up on your water changes and keep your nitrates in check.

Awesome, I was hoping you would say something along those lines. :)
They will likely be the last additions along with the Leopard Ctenopoma, just because I have to travel a ways to get to my favorite fish store for buying good quality fish. Sucks that i the Oregon State Capitol, there isnt a single fish store. Gotta go all the way to Springfield for anything decent. :\

Sad day for me.. Found one of my angels dead in a corner of the tank. I think it got bullied to death a few days before. I also saw two other angels fighting a lot of times. Both of them were in a lip lock! Do i have to separate them?
