How old are they? lip locking is either breeding behaviour or males fighing for territory. You should take some pictures of them while they are lip locking and post them up.

don't know how old they are but they are approx 4.5" to 5 inches from top to bottom.. haven't seen them lip locking since the last time. ill try to observe and tank pics if it happens again. thanks for the help tropicalfishking! will post pics soon! hope the plants do better in the next coming weeks

to me they seem like platinum angel fish (Pterophyllum scalare)..i believe it is scalare..but giant danios are good choice for angel tanks they are fast and get to 4"..ExtraMe;5124857; said:here's a pic of my angels
You see how all of them have those bumbs where they poop out of? Those are the breeding tubes, so they are pairing up.
